Grand Theft Auto 4 Development

It's been estimataed that about 150 game developers worked on GTA4. Thsi team greatly consisted of the Grand Theft Auto 3 team. The story of the Grand theft Auto 4 was written by the Rockstar Co-founder dan Houser.

Like every GTA game a reccae was taken out, and this is no different for the latest release as they North Rockstar team took at least two trips to NewYork for research. One at the start of the project and one further into development. Such research conistsed of things like information ranging from the ethnic minority of a neighbourhood to videos of traffic patterns.

GTA 4 Release date

Rockstar Games initially going to release Grand Theft Auto Four on the original 16 October 2007 release date.
However, it was later suggested that Take-Two Interactive software may choose to delay the release of the game in order to boost its success for 2008, thus avoiding strong competition the release of other highly anticipated titles. Although the official statement was "due to additional development time required to complete the title".

So release date is and currently stands at the 29th of April.

Grand Theft Auto IV which is also known as GTA IV or GTA4 will be the eleventh Grand Theft Auto game in the series. Take Two software development and Rockstar Games have been creating these games since 2004, right after San Andreas was released. Since then, the game has been developed by Rockstar teams in Edinburgh, San Diego, and New York.
